It is a condition that usually begins in early childhood and is more common among men. Symptoms appear in early adulthood and include back pain, joint pain, and reduced flexibility in the spine which eventually results in a hunched-forward posture.

Meet Pam Brown, CRNP, MS!

She graduated from Towson University with her Bachelor's in 1995 and earned her Master's and Adult Nurse Practitioner from University of Maryland in 1999.

She has a background working in Orthopedics and the University of Maryland and Orthopedic Oncology at John's Hopkins.

Pam has been a part of the Carroll Arthritis family for 3 years now. She is very family oriented, enjoys knitting, cooking, drawing and cycling. She is a long time resident of Carroll County, and has a strong involvement in participating in charitable events and working with many charities in and outside of the community.

Pam's dedication to her patients is admirable. She goes out of her way to make sure her patients' needs are met and their questions are answered. She helps patients manage many different rheumatological and orthopedic issues and also assists in our infusion clinic as needed. She provides a nurturing and personable approach and is an important part of the Carroll Arthritis team!

One of the perks of being a patient at Carroll Arthritis is being able to get blood drawn onsite through LabCorp!
After seeing a provider, our blood draw room is just steps away making for a convenient way to wrap up your appointment in one stop.

Tina is the full time phlebotomist employed through LabCorp, who is permanently working with our office. We consider her a part of the family and she is amazing with our patients. She has 30 years of experience as a phlebotomist and has a very uplifting energy about her that will make you feel right at home.
