💚 Meet the Upside Team: Lindsay Safir, LMSW 💚
We are proud to introduce Lindsay, a dedicated and compassionate therapist whose work centers on helping individuals reconnect with their strengths and move forward with confidence.
Lindsay earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2023, followed by a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Clinical Behavioral Health in 2024. Throughout her academic journey, she completed two impactful internships supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, strengthening her commitment to helping people heal and thrive.
Lindsay’s therapeutic approach is rooted in a strengths-based perspective. She believes that every person carries inherent resilience and inner resources, and her role is to help clients recognize and build upon those strengths while navigating the real-life barriers they may face.
In her work with clients, Lindsay incorporates:
✨ Motivational Interviewing to empower individuals to set meaningful goals
✨ Attachment-focused insights to deepen understanding of relationships and emotional patterns
✨ Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools to help reframe negative thought patterns and develop healthier perspectives
Lindsay is passionate about creating a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to advocate for themselves.
Her commitment to growth and learning continues as she expands her clinical skills to better serve individuals navigating the complexities of addiction, mental health, and life transitions.
