Transgender Day of Visibility is celebrated every year on March 31. This is a time to celebrate and support trans people, while also acknowledging the challenges this community continues to face.

Visibility matters to me as a trans business owner. I want other trans folks to know they’re always welcome here. This is a space where you can feel seen, respected, and safe. In my personal life, it’s just as important for me to live authentically and not hide who I am.

I turned 40 on March 8th.

To be completely honest, I started to feel nervous about it a few months ago. Leaving your 30's feel heavy and it's loaded with a lot of reflection.

Overall, I had to come to terms with the fact that time doesn't stop and I can either go into this new decade with dread or I can relax and enjoy it. I chose the latter.

By the time the 8th came around, I was excited to celebrate this new milestone. Overall, I'd say 40 is looking pretty good! 🎉
