Occupying nearly 150 acres, Westminster Memorial Park and Mortuary brings the uplifting and pastoral beauty of the countryside into the heart of Orange County. Our beautiful park has more than 1,300 trees and features beautiful statuary, fountains, a stream, waterfall, and a lake. With our on-site crematory and florist, all your needs are provided for in a single location. Other highlights of our award-winning park include the Mausoleum of Eternal Light, which boasts two interior streams and a large fountain along with three large skylights that give the mausoleum its name. The large pagoda and tiered private family estates in our Garden of Peaceful Eternity are well-known and loved by local residents. This garden has quadrupled in size since it was first developed in 1996, due to the great demand by the community. Our beautiful main chapel, easily seen from Beach Boulevard, is a landmark in central Orange County, and is often the setting for various community events, such as the Celebration of Life ceremony and Escape School® programs for children.
First opened as Central Memorial Park in 1924, Westminster Memorial Park is undoubtedly one of the more beautiful cemetery properties in Southern California. Comprising 150 pastoral acres, the memorial park has captured the affections and imaginations of city and chamber committees who have recognized the property for its beauty, as well as that of thousands of families of various social, cultural and religious backgrounds who have decided to have their loved ones buried here.
