BGE is asking all customers to conserve electricity to reduce the potential for widespread outages this afternoon and evening as the result of a power plant experiencing an unplanned disconnection from the BGE electric system.

In addition to conserving electricity beginning immediately and through this evening, we also recommend customers prepare for a potential outage. If an outage is necessary, we will make every effort to alert customers in advance.

An emergency cycling event has also been activated to respond to system operations needs. If you are enrolled in the PeakRewards Air Conditioning program, your air conditioner will be cycled up to your full cycling level (50%, 75%, or 100%) for the duration of the event. You will not be able to override participation in this cycling event. If you have a medical or health condition or require immediate assistance, please call the PeakRewards customer hotline at 1.888.309.PEAK (7325). If you are enrolled in Connected Rewards Air Conditioning program, your thermostats will be adjusted by up to 4 degrees for the duration of the event. Customers can opt out of the event by changing the temperature on their thermostat at home.

Please be advised, effective today, August 01, 2025, Labcorp has decided to no longer offer walk-in phlebotomy services within the Access Carroll location.

We appologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to onsite lab services returning to Access Carroll in the future. Updates will be shared as available.

Beginning on Monday, July 14, 2025, the Labcorp site located within Access Carroll will be open to walk-in patient services for the next 60 days. No appointments are required!

Please help us get the word out to the community - tell your family, friends, and coworkers.

Access Carroll is conveniently located in downtown Westminster, next to Paradiso Ristorante. Enter the building under the green awning and come up two floors (stairs & elevator available) where you will find the Access Carroll's entry doors. Once in our reception area, proceed to the front desk and let an Access Carroll Team Member know you are here for Labcorp services.

Please be advised that due to a Labcorp staffing shortage this morning, Labcorp has made a decision to pull our plebotomist from the Access Carroll Lab today, Friday, July 18, 2025.

We deeply appologize to those whom this Labcorp decision may inconvenience, as we have already had to turn away patients this morning.

We fully expect our phlebotomist, Denise, will be back on site Monday, July 21, 2025.
