Central Health Medicare Plan Brand New Day is the Medicare product line name of Universal Care, Inc. Medicare has reviewed and approved these (Chronic Special Needs Plans or C-SNPs).

Central Health Medicare Plan was founded in 2004 by local physicians determined to provide better health solutions to the culturally diverse communities they served. Universal Care/Brand New Day is a family run, privately held health plan that has been in operation since 1985 and understands the importance of helping our members through the complex healthcare system. Brand New Day has benefit plans and specialized programs to allow you to choose the program that meets your needs. The Plan has programs for individuals needing a standard Medicare program, special programs for individuals with both Medicare and Medi-Cal (Dual Special Needs Plan or D-SNP) and specialized Chronic Care programs for individuals diagnosed with any of the following chronic conditions: Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure, Dementia, Major Depression, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Paranoid Disorder. The plan is licensed to service members who live in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, and Kings Counties. Brand New Day has developed a number of programs to support our Members, their family and caregivers, and the member’s Family doctor and specialists. Brand New Day’s programs have consistent structure to allow support programs to achieve goals to improve the overall well-being of our members.
