The Butterfly Pavilion brought live caterpillars that we cared for while they grew into butterflies. Once they formed their little chrysalids and emerged into adults, we released them into our Harmony & Grace Butterfly Garden. 🦋🌺☀️🦋🤩

Hi there!
My name is Angelina Short, and I’m absolutely thrilled to introduce myself as the new Executive Director for The Retreat at Church Ranch. I’ve always had a heart for helping people and a deep passion for creating vibrant, nurturing communities where everyone feels seen, valued, and at home. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of leadership roles within senior living communities across Colorado. Most recently, I combined my love of senior care with my adventurous spirit by spending time in the UK, this experience allowed me to provide guidance to senior living organizations around England while being able to travel to new countries such as Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, and more!

What truly drives me is building genuine connections, empowering teams, and fostering an environment where residents not only feel safe and supported, but truly thrive. I believe that senior living should be filled with warmth, joy, and a true sense of belonging, and I’m excited to contribute to that vision here at The Retreat.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me hitting the ski slopes, singing along at a concert, cooking or baking in the kitchen, or getting lost in a good book. (Fun fact: I read 36 books last year, and I’m aiming for 40 this year!) I also love spending quality time with my family and friends. To me, life is all about connection, and that’s the energy I strive to bring into everything I do.
