We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Carroll Community College’s Women’s Health class for their generosity and partnership! The class thoughtfully selected CARE as the focus of their Community Project, which challenges students to choose a local organization and find meaningful ways to support their community.

At CARE, we believe healing is most effective when approached holistically. To support this mission, we provide two dedicated areas stocked with self-care and personal hygiene items that our clients may access freely, always at no cost and without judgment. As these supplies were beginning to run low, we were especially grateful for the support of our community.

Thanks to the incredible kindness of our friends at Carroll Community College, our shelves are once again fully stocked. We are truly inspired by the generosity of everyone who contributed, and these donations will make a meaningful difference for the clients we serve.

December 17th is the International Day to End Violence Against S*x Workers. This is a day to honor the lives lost, uplift the voices of survivors, and advocate for safety, dignity, and human rights for all. Violence against s*x workers is often fueled by stigma, discrimination, and lack of protection. Today, we stand in solidarity with s*x workers around the world and reaffirm our commitment to creating communities where every person is valued, supported, and safe.

If you or someone you know is participating in s*x work, our Regional Navigator can be contacted to discuss supportive services and resources - judgement free, by calling 410-857-0900 ext. #4. As always, our helpline is available 24/7 at 410-857-7322.

This holiday season, our friends at Cat’s Closet Nonprofit helped bring light into some of the darkest moments. Their incredible donation of toys and gifts will give the child survivors we serve and the adult survivors working hard to rebuild their lives while navigating unimaginable challenges and raising little ones, a Christmas filled with magic, joy, comfort, and hope. Even during the hardest chapters, kindness like this reminds our clients that they are seen, supported, and never alone. We can’t thank you enough! ❤️🎄🎁
