Support the Lions Club – Raffle Tickets Available

Ginger’s club is currently selling raffle tickets, and she will have a stack available tomorrow for anyone interested in purchasing at Country Acres.

All proceeds benefit the Lions Club, the wonderful organization that consistently remembers both our residents and staff with generous gifts and holiday baskets throughout the year. Their kindness and thoughtfulness never go unnoticed at Country Acres.

I’ve let her know that I’m proud to support a group that so faithfully supports us.

• Place your payment in an envelope labeled with your name, and drop it in the metal mailbox at the top of the stairs

Toll Road Scam Warning
I have been receiving suspicious texts claiming I owe money. The link provided stated I owed $6.95, but I suspected a scam and did not provide any information. It was confirmed to be a scam attempting to obtain credit card and driver's license information.
Please report this by marking the text as junk. If concerned about outstanding tolls, contact your local DMV. I verified this scam through the MD E-Z Pass site.

Thank you Carroll County Road Operations. Sadly a deer had been killed and was laying next to our sign at the corner of Deer Pard rd and Collison Dr. I called the county to report it and in less than two hours they had removed the super big deer in the pouring rain. You guys are literally the best. Thank you so much. 😊

I am sooooo grateful for Richard Garver our office manager/ almost every other job we have at Country Acres who is currently on a well deserved 2 week vacation. But who still ordered and scheduled the next two weeks of Walmart grocery orders for our home. So all I had to do in this awful weather is swing by and let them know I was waiting in my dry suv. Then these two amazing staff members from the Hampstead Walmart loaded all of my items with care and with the best attitude ever. Completely acting like they didn’t have a hard job in the soaking cold rain. I’m feeling super grateful to all of the hardworking people who help me take great care of our residents.
I pray they have a very Merry Christmas and others make their lives easier like they did for me total as we all check off our Holiday to Do List.
I asked if I could take their pic to post and they said sure. I didn’t get their names. But they are definitely on my Nice List this year!!!!

Looks like our residents and staff will be getting all treats and no tricks from the Roaring Run Lions Club. Ginger Turnball and her group of angels never disappoint. All of the handmade cards, treat bags, and special snacks will surely put a smile on everyone’s face this Halloween.
