We are getting many questions about COVID-19 vaccine availability. Right now, the state is only distributing the vaccine to large scale hospital networks and pharmacies. We hope to be able to give the vaccine to our patients some day, but we don't know when that will happen. If you qualify for one of the early groups to receive the vaccination (essential worker, age > 70, pre-existing condition, etc.), check this link on the Colorado Health Department web site to see where you can get the vaccine:

Hello Pinnacle Family,

We hope you all continue to be healthy and safe at home, enjoying your time with family.

We are now settled into our routine of well patients in the morning and sick patients in the afternoon, and this system is running smoothly. We have also started telemedicine visits by video conference, and these visits are suprisingly easy and effective. They work well for medicine checks, ADHD follow ups, anxiety or depression follow ups, diabetes follow ups, and simple illnesses such as pink eye.

Following the American Academy of Pediatrics guidance, we continue to recommend well child visits in the office for young children needing vaccinations. Call us to discuss telehealth options for older children!
