Our Story
Dr. Lisa Wilcox is passionate about improving her patient’s lives by ensuring that they are heard and treated as the unique individual that they are. No one person is the same, and no person’s body responds in the same way to pain, dysfunction, surgery or trauma. It is her mission to listen to each patient and their body in order to guide the treatment, find the true source of the problem and help them to live their best lives! Solstice Physical Therapy was opened in 2017 after Dr. Wilcox realized that she could not fulfill her mission within the confines of an insurance-based clinic. She decided to open Solstice PT so that she could provide the absolute best treatment for each person and do what she knew was right, not just what the insurance companies allowed her to do. It has been an amazing journey and she has been able to help so many people that were not finding results within the insurance-based healthcare system. She has found her “home” and feels blessed to be able to touch the lives of each patient that walks through her door.
