A couple of weeks ago, members of our corporate team joined Project Houseworks to repaint the home of a senior in our community. For older adults and those with disabilities, home repairs can be costly and challenging, but with a little teamwork and a lot of heart, we helped give this home a fresh new look and a renewed sense of comfort. 🏡
We’re proud to volunteer with Project Houseworks for the fourth year in a row and grateful for the chance to serve in a way that truly reflects our mission. 💙

When Mr. Charley experienced a sudden housing crisis and needed to be relocated quickly, caregivers Rebekah and Damien from Right at Home Rhome, TX stepped in with extraordinary care and dedication. Within just one week, they helped him find a new place to live, packed up his belongings, and even disassembled and reinstalled his accessibility ramp at the new location.
Their support didn’t stop there. On their own time, they took Mr. Charley to local missions to shop for essentials like sheets and household items, and Rebekah personally ensured his deposit was covered. Their actions were driven not by obligation, but by a deep passion for making sure Mr. Charley’s basic needs, and beyond, were met with dignity and love.

A group of residents at Monkscroft Care Centre in Cheltenham, aged 72 to 88, wrote and starred in a 20-minute mystery film inspired by Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club series. Judith Green led the project by writing the script, which was adapted to suit cast members with dementia, and filming was done entirely on an iPhone over a five-month period. The story follows the group as they search for a missing diamond ring, with residents playing characters like Agatha Crispie and Miss Marbles.
The project brought residents together, sparked new friendships, and was celebrated with a red carpet event at the care home, where families gathered to enjoy the finished film. Judith was relieved to hear laughter and see the film warmly received.

To truly be effective, it must extend beyond the home through strong communication with healthcare providers. Every doctor, specialist, and pharmacist should have access to a complete, up-to-date medication list that includes prescriptions, over-the-counter treatments, and supplements. 💊
