We as a community are becoming more aware of how often concussions occur. Blue Cross Blue Shield even reported a 71% increase in rough sport-related concussions since 2010!

It’s a bittersweet day at West Suburban Vision Therapy Center! Today was Rachael’s last day before she moves on to the next chapter of her life to follow her dreams! We are so proud of her!

At the same time, we are happy to welcome Bridget back, and she has returned as our Vision Therapy Administrator! We are very excited to have her back. 😁👍

Yesterday, we celebrated one of our wonderful Vision Therapists, Maureen. She is wonderful with patients of all ages and an absolute joy to work with. We will all miss her as she moves on to the next chapter of her life!! We wish her all the best!

We are so proud of Dr Maze!! He is already missed at his vision therapy practice, West Suburban Vision Therapy Center.

Join us in welcoming SCO's newest faculty member, David Maze, OD. After graduating from Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Maze completed a vision therapy residency at SUNY State College of Optometry. Following his residency, Dr. Maze returned to Illinois where he and a colleague operated a private optometric practice that emphasized vision therapy for children and adults. His practice also participated in the InfantSEE program.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Maze was an adjunct clinical professor at his alma mater, ICO. Dr. Maze is a COVD and AAO Fellow. He has volunteered his professional skills on a SVOSH mission to Honduras and numerous times for the Special Olympics. Welcome to the faculty, Dr. Maze!
