Tuning forks are tools for sound and vibrational therapy that I sometimes incorporate into acupuncture treatments. The tuning fork on the left resonates with 93.96 Hz, a frequency that aligns with the earth’s natural electromagnetic pulse. It promotes relaxation and grounding and also addresses stagnant energy.

The 528 Hz on the right is part of the Solfeggio scale. This frequency clears the energy field and promotes emotional balance. I like to see this one as giving us an energetic shower.

In general, tuning forms help enhance meditation and deep relaxation. When we are aligned and in our best energy, everyone benefits 😌

Today was a special day. My 3 year old son came in for his first appointment. We stimulated points with the tuning fork, acupressure tools, and massage. We even experimented with a needle insertion for exposure. We, of course, finished with a hug.
Now that he is back at school, we focused on the immune system, but our major goal was exposure. Proud of him for being so brave to try something new.
It’s another reminder that we do not need to use needles to have a complete and beneficial appointment. Acupuncture is appropriate for all ages!

Big update here! Starting at the end of September, I will start treating out of a second location in Geneva, IL! I will take appointments on Wednesdays 10-4 and occasionally Saturdays 9-3 at Valley Acupuncture Health Soluions, located right of Geneva’s bustling Third Street. I know, I know! I am super late to the online booking party, but here you go! You can book online now via my website under the “pricing and booking” tab or by signing into your Jane account. Online booking is ONLY available for existing clients so if you are new to True North, you need to book the old fashioned way: email, call, or text. You can also add yourself to waitlists and manage your account in other ways through the online booking portal. Since this is new, continue to reach out directly if you can’t find a time you want because we might be able to work something out. Hope this makes things easier on you all 🤗
