Burgess Square Healthcare and Rehab Centre and Assisting Hands Home Care were proud to co-host a continuing education event on burnout in healthcare and the critical importance of self-care.

From CNAs and nurses to social workers and case managers, thank you to everyone from Silver Cross and beyond who showed up, engaged, and reminded us: you can’t pour from an empty cup.

🌺Skilled Nursing Week is in full swing, and each day brings a new theme and reason to celebrate!
Our Hawaiian Day was a huge hit: residents were greeted with leis, sipped on (virgin!) piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris, enjoyed delicious chicken and beef skewers, watched a tropical movie, and relaxed to the sounds of Hawaiian music. The joy and energy have been contagious, and we’re just getting started!
