Chicago Prostate Cancer Center

Chicago Prostate Cancer Center Treating prostate cancer with a focus on quality of life. We are led by Dr. Brian Moran, board-certified from the American College of Radiology.

Chicago Prostate Cancer Center was established in 1997 with the goal of providing patients with comprehensive care focused on the treatment of prostate cancer with radiation therapy in the form of seed implants (brachytherapy). The idea was to provide state-of-the-art prostate brachytherapy to our patients with the best equipment and a well-trained staff in a patient-centered facility. The philosophy of Chicago Prostate Cancer Center is to do what is in the best interest of our patients. We accomplish this by evaluating a patient not only for prostate cancer or elevated PSA levels, but by assessing a patient's overall health, social situation, and quality of life. This may be prostate radiation with brachytherapy, external beam radiation, hormone therapy, watchful waiting, surgery or a combination of these. In fact historically, we have recommended brachytherapy for our patients in approximately 65% of all cases. We pride ourselves on treating prostate cancer patients with a focus on quality of life.
