The APEX team was honored to participate in a Veterans’ Flag Memorial hosted by our valued partners at Downers Grover Senior Living. The simple act of sponsoring flags in honor of a veteran resident provided a dignified and meaningful opportunity to recognize the service and sacrifice of the veterans within their community.
We appreciate the collaboration that made this event possible and are grateful to be included in a tribute that reflects such respect and gratitude for those who have served our country.

A blast from the past that still speaks to the heart. 💜🧡

For National Hospice & Palliative Care Month, we’re revisiting The Blue Chair—a powerful reflection where APEX team members imagine themselves in the place of a hospice patient.
They sit in the Blue Chair and share what they would want, how they would hope to be cared for, and what dignity, comfort, and compassion truly mean.

This simple exercise continues to shape the way we show up for patients and families every day.
We hope this video raises awareness and helps our community better understand what hospice care is—and what it can be.

Because when we take a moment to sit in the Blue Chair, everything becomes more human.💙
