I have been taking a class on Sylvotherapy. Today I learned that color preferences and emotions can change based on aspects like age, culture and even gender. However whatever part of the world you're in, the color yellow will have a positive connotation. Blue will always be associated with calm and tranquility and green will invariably symbolize life, hope, luck, strength and concentration!

Pretty cool article about what I have started in my town with a bunch of amazing people - both individuals and businesses. We all volunteer our time to keep Sisters Marianne and Helen's vision going. Peace healing and wholeness through nature. Thanks Collingswood Living and Laura Stark who not only wrote the article but designed our beautiful logo- which is shown on our poetry contest flyer and other places. 🙂.

Hi,
I haven't posted in a while, as I have been busy running Meditation Gardens of Collingswood. It is so surreal - and exciting. In the process I signed up to be a Forrest Bather of sorts: Spirituality in Nature Group Leaders’ Training - connecting with community, engaging in spiritual deepening, and reawakening our wonder, connection, and commitment to being in active, loving, reciprocal relationship with Earth. I hope to start programs where we do journeys together in nature!

And hopefully create meditation gardens - where we can restore our wellness!

I am overwhelmed by how much our community has embraced a vision to create places for healing through nature. So grateful for the people who volunteered to join me in this journey. I never thought I would be doing something like this but so glad I did.
