Sellars supports Bethpage Elementary spring carnival

Sellars Family Heritage Westmoreland recently made a donation for the Bethpage Elementary School spring carnival’s auction. The event is coordinated by the Bethpage Elementary parent-teacher organization (PTO) and serves as a fundraiser for the school. Pictured is Bethpage Elementary PTO President Caitlin Richmond with the spring gift basket donated by Sellars. The carnival is on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., with the silent auction open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the live auction beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Sophomore Dylan Gann has been named the Westmoreland High School football player of the week following last Friday evening's 55-7 loss at top-ranked Martin Westview in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.
Gann – a running back and defensive back – posted the first 100-yard rushing game of his career, finishing with 103 yards on 19 carries. He also caught three passes – including an 18-yard, diving reception – and returned three kickoffs for an average of 15.7 yards per return.
Gann also made two tackles (one solo).
Gann received a $50 gift card.

Sophomore Dylan Gann has been named the Westmoreland High School football player of the week following last Friday evening's 25-21, come-from-behind victory over visiting Camden in the opening round of the Class 3A playoffs.
With WHS trailing 21-0 in the second quarter, Gann’s 78-yard kickoff return set up the Eagles’ first touchdown on the next play. The wingback led the team in rushing yardage (83 yards on 13 carries) and receiving yardage (40 yards on five catches, including a 28-yard touchdown reception).
As a defensive back, Gann also made six tackles (four solo).
Gann received a $50 gift card.

Senior Thomas Francis has been named the Westmoreland High School football player of the week following last Friday evening's 13-7, overtime loss to visiting White House Heritage.
Francis caught a 48-yard touchdown pass from Zander Hodge in the third quarter, tying the contest.
He also intercepted a Patriot pass in the end zone during the second quarter, made one solo tackle and broke up a pass.
Francis received a gift card from Sellars Family Heritage Westmoreland.

Senior Jason Sterlinkski has been named the Westmoreland High School football player of the week following last Friday evening's 21-20 victory over visiting Maplewood, which – coupled with Stratford’s victory over Whites Creek – earned the Eagles a home playoff game.
Sterlinski – a tight end/defensive end – finished with a team-leading 10 tackles (three solo) as the Eagle defense limited the Panthers to no first downs in the first half and just 171 yards for the game.
Sterlinski received a $50 gift card.

Sellars Family Heritage Westmoreland presented player of the week awards to Westmoreland High School senior football standouts Rylan Staats and Grant Lilly.
Staats – a tight end and defensive lineman – had a team-leading six tackles (four solo) in the Eagles’ 41-0 loss to Gordonsville on October 3. Staats also had a quarterback hurry and blocked a point-after touchdown kick.
In last Friday evening’s 27-13, road win over regional foe Stratford, Lilly – a fullback and linebacker – rushed for a game-high 70 yards on 19 carries, including touchdowns of 2 and 1 yards. He also punted four times for a 32-yard average, and defensively, he led the team with four tackles (three solo) and also had a pass break-up.
Both Staats and Lilly received a $50 gift card.
