ANTS.
Automatic Negative Thoughts son las ideas negativas, descalificadoras que aparecen automaticas en tu cabeza sobre ti mismo o sobre tu realidad. Y la infestan igual que las hormigas infestarian tu cocina. Son pequeñas, lucen insignificantes, pasan dersapercibidas, pero van destruyendo, infestando y dominando todo cuanto alcanzan.
empieza por saber que pasa alli adentro, en tu mente, en tu cerebro.

Si estas lidiando con problemas de salud mental, un solo tratamiento no basta.

Un niño con autismo no solo necesita behavior analysis. Un niño con ADHD no solo necesita medicina. Un niño con learning disabilities no solo necesita Neurofeedback. Un niño con problemas de agresividad no solo necesita cambios en su dieta. Un niño con ansiedad no solo necesita que la madre le ensene coping skills. Es mucho mas que eso lo necesario. Se dice: "it takes a village" Yo diria, se necesita todo lo que se necesita. Hay que sentarse a observar, dilucidar, entender, conceptualizar. Y hay que doblar rodillas para entender, aceptar.

Toma 15 minutos diagnosticar a un nino en la oficina su doctor. Los diagnosticos estan a la orden del dia. En ese momento empieza un largo camino de desaciertos y desesperanzas que solo quien ha pasado por eso entiende.
Pero la pregunta es: como saber que pasa si no se VE lo que esta pasando adentro? ("How do you know if you don't look" -Dr. AMEN)
Salud del cerebro es salud de la mente.
La es una epidemia silenciosa y contagiosa. Preguntemos cuantas personas que conocemos sufren de o , , , , etc, etc.
Nunca es un buen tratamiento si solo se trata de una sola forma. Solo psicoterapia? Solo medicina? Solo tecnicas de relajacion? Solo nutricion? Solo cambios en la dinamica familiar? No.
Quien tiene mas futuro: la madre que lucha sola con su hijo, o la que involucra a todos en su familia volviendose ella misma un agente multiplicador de salud y bienestar en la medida de lo posible. Ser provida es tambien defender el derecho a estar sano y ser feliz en el dia a dia, haciendo buenas elecciones cotidianas.
Si no hacemos un tiempo hoy para cuidar de nuestra salud del cerebro, tendremos que hacer tienpo despues para sufrir la enfermedad.
El tiempo es ahora.

Laughter reduces the level of “stress hormones” (cortisol, epinephrine, adrenaline) in the body, while stimulating “feel good” hormones like endorphins.
Make your child laugh often.
It decreases anxiety by changing the chemical and electrical activity of the brain. It is a very powelful though simple technique.
