I’m hosting a 4-week morning yoga series this October—live on Zoom at 5 AM Tuesdays (45 minutes). Can’t make it that early? Each class will be recorded so you can practice anytime that works for you. 🌿

Hey y’all.
Now that my maternity leave is officially over- I wanted to share my new schedule with you. It’s much shorter than the amount of classes I am used to teaching, which makes every class feel so full of intention and purpose.

Early morning movement has been a saving grace for my body these past few months. Sometimes I come in and do big wiggles and large movements- most days though, I support my body with props and be real still. Both work, both feel good. Here’s what’s happening this month! Join me at Easy Tiger for a variety of yoga classes:

🌟 Saturday Mornings: Power Flow at 8:30AM and Mindful Movement at 10 AM. I’m subbing these classes for , so come flow with me!

🗓️ Thursdays at 6:45 PM: Yoga & Journaling. There are still spots available for this amazing series—combine movement and reflection for a truly unique experience!

5 Misconceptions About Yoga Teachers ✨

1. We are health care professionals: Yoga can support well-being and mindfulness, but it’s not a replacement for professional medical advice or treatment. We encourage balance, but always listen to your doctor!
2. Your teacher can do every pose: We’re still on our own journey too. Flexibility and strength vary, and some poses remain a challenge for us just like for our students. Progress, not perfection, is the goal.
3. Yoga teachers are ‘zen’ all the time: Life happens, and just because we teach yoga doesn’t mean we’re immune to stress or difficult emotions. We’re working on our inner peace, just like you!
4. Our bodies always feel great because we do yoga: Regular practice doesn’t make us superhuman. We still experience soreness, tightness, and even injuries. Yoga is about honoring where the body is at any given moment.
5. Teaching class is the same as personal practice: When we teach, our focus is on guiding and supporting the students, not on our own practice. Personal practice is a space for our own growth and self-care, separate from teaching.

Remember, yoga teachers are human too! 💛

*When:Wednesday evenings in August at 5:30 PM
*Duration:60 minutes

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and inner reflection with our “Svadhyaya - Self Study” yoga series. Each 60-minute session is thoughtfully designed to blend the practices of journaling and yoga, creating a holistic experience that nurtures both mind and body.

**Session Breakdown:**
1. Journaling Class will begin with a few minutes of reflective journaling. This quiet time allows you to set intentions, clear your mind, and connect with your inner self.
2. All Levels Yoga Flow: Engage in a yoga flow suitable for all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the sequences are designed to be accessible and adaptable, promoting strength, flexibility, and inner peace.
3. Closing Journaling: We will conclude the session with another journaling period to capture your post-practice reflections, insights, and any shifts in your mental or emotional state.

**Special Offer:** As part of the series, each student will receive a complimentary journal at the first session, providing a dedicated space for your thoughts and experiences throughout your journey.
