I had the absolute pleasure of attending the New England Epilepsy Conference in Boston yesterday to present on utilizing Blenderized Tube Feeds when administering a Ketogenic Diet to patients with epilepsy. I was joined by one of my very favorite patient moms - which was the BEST part of the talk! Connecting patient caregivers so they can share tips and tricks is so valuable.

Lisbon and the Azores 2025
In Lisbon, there was Fado, pastel de nada, fancy gloves and food in a tube. In the Azores, there was hiking through vineyards lined with volcanic rock, hiking around the mouth of a volcano at 1,000m, and more stunning hiking views. There were prop planes, ferry rides with the FC Flamengos celebrating the big win, and fairy tale hamlets. There were whales, dolphins, windmills, and more food in a tube.

Now it’s a gourd garden

It’s that time of year! 🌱🌿My summer crops are about done and I’m letting the Gourds Go Wild!! There are a few pretty pumpkins in there, but I’m all about the gorgeous, giant leaves. The wild beauty of the vines taking over my garden fills me with happiness! The garden is well manicured for most of the growing season and I’ve learned to find beauty and joy in surrendering to the plants.
