🇨🇺 🇻🇪 I am Cuban, spent my childhood in Venezuela and have lived in South Florida since my teenage years.

🟢 As a Hispanic physician, what makes you most proud?
🔵 I am most proud to represent and advocate for minority communities in medicine. As a Hispanic woman, it is incredibly meaningful to care for the diverse South Florida community, where I completed all of my medical training, and serve patients who share my cultural background.
I also take pride in mentoring trainees from similar backgrounds and helping them navigate their own paths in medicine.

🔵 My Hispanic background allows me to provide more personalized and compassionate care as I understand the cultural values, beliefs, and perspectives that shape healthcare decisions within this patient population.

🔵 Me hace orgullosa representar y abogar por las comunidades minoritarias en la medicina. Como mujer hispana, es sumamente significativo cuidar de la diversa comunidad del sur de la Florida, donde completé toda mi formación médica, y atender a pacientes que comparten mi trasfondo cultural.
También me enorgullece orientar a estudiantes en formación con orígenes similares y ayudarlos a trazar sus propios caminos en la medicina.
