Skip the sugar overload—this year, show your heart (and your loved ones) some love with these healthy homemade Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Hearts. ❤️

Ingredients:
1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% or higher, dairy-free like Hu or Enjoy Life)
1/2 cup natural almond butter (or any nut/seed butter you like)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey (optional for extra sweetness)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt

Optional add-ins:
1 tbsp chia seeds or ground flax for fiber
1 tsp maca powder for hormone support
Crushed freeze-dried strawberries for a festive touch

Instructions:
-Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a double boiler or microwave in 20-second intervals. Stir until smooth.
-In a separate bowl, mix almond butter, vanilla, maple syrup (if using), sea salt, and any optional add-ins.
-Using a silicone heart-shaped mold, spoon a layer of melted chocolate into each cavity—just enough to coat the bottom.
-Add a small dollop of the almond butter mixture into the center.
-Cover with more melted chocolate to seal each one.
-Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until fully set.
-Pop out of molds and store in the fridge or freezer until ready to serve.
