The Founder and Director Alina Gastesi-de Armas is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Florida Supreme Court Family, Circuit Civil and County Mediator as well as a seasoned Parenting Coordinator and Professor at Broward College. Alina has over 15 years experience with the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma and stress management. Alina's approach to marriage counseling helps couples stop the "blame game" while rekindling their love for one another. Alina assists parents in restructuring their role and parenting style so as to develop a positive relationship with their children in a nurturing, yet firm way. Divorce and separation can be the most challenging experiences in a person's life. Alina works with you and your family through the difficult times to help heal and recreate a workable structure for growth from these experiences. Mediation is a process by which people can resolve conflicts and reach workable solutions. Alina's expertise in counseling is a true advantage in the mediation process and has proven very successful in helping people reach compromises in a variety of situations. In very challenging divorce or co-parenting relationships Alina as a Parenting Coordinator guides as an impartial professional helping separated and divorced parents improve their co-parenting skills as well as solve problems involving their children in high conflict child custody disputes.
