We truly felt the energy and intention in the room as Women Leading Broward Class XIII began their leadership journey.

It was wonderful seeing everyone come together at orientation, ready to invest in themselves, discover their authentic voices, and connect with an inspiring community of Women Leaders in Broward.

Participants had a chance to meet Monica (Class Chair), Alex (Class Vice Chair), our amazing facilitators, and fellow Class XIII members.

Together, we kicked things off with a powerful Vision Board exercise to set intentions for the year ahead. The excitement and sense of purpose set the tone for a year of growth, connection, and impact.

Special thanks to Orianna Higuera for capturing these incredible moments!

What an incredible day!

Women Leading Broward Class XIII officially came together on January 12.

Our facilitators welcomed these incredible women as they connected with their cohort and stepped into a safe, confidential space designed for their leadership journey.

This is where the magic begins—where they discover their strengths, find their voice, and realize they're not alone in this journey.

We're grateful for the authentic selves they brought. Now let's evolve together. 💜

For many women, it's the difference between feeling like you're just “managing” and truly making an impact. At Women Leading Broward, we believe that self-awareness is the foundation for every bold move, every strategic risk, and every breakthrough moment in your career.

Our upcoming class is built around these powerful themes:

• Self-Awareness & Authenticity

• Strategic Risk-Taking

• Personal Mission & Branding

Applications for this class are now closed, and we're currently reviewing an inspiring group of women who are ready to invest in their leadership journey.

If you're a mid-career woman in Broward and this speaks to you, stay tuned. This is the kind of supportive sisterhood that continues to grow—one leader at a time. 🌟

There's something truly special about gathering with the incredible women who make Women Leading Broward possible. This photo captures a moment of joy, gratitude, and sisterhood—the very heart of what we do.

To my amazing Vice Chair Alex, our dedicated facilitators, and all our volunteers: thank you for your passion, your time, and your commitment to lifting up the women leaders of Broward County. You inspire me every single day.

As we celebrate this beautiful season, I wish each of you—and everyone in our community—an abundance of happiness, peace, and joy. May this holiday bring rest, connection, and moments that remind you of your own strength and worth.

Here's to the year ahead and the incredible women we'll continue to empower together. 💜

Wishing you all a blessed holiday season! 🎁

We're honored to spotlight Sara Shake, CEO of Vacancy, who shared a powerful message at our recent Reunion & Recruitment event about working hard, setting boundaries, and being a positive role model for her daughters.

Sara reflected, “My girls see both me and their dad working really hard—working late hours and finishing what we start. But I also want them to know it's okay to have boundaries. We put energy into people who make us feel good, safe, and happy.

The people who make us feel less than—we don't have to keep them close. I hope that's something they'll carry with them as they become women.”

Thank you, Sara, for reminding us that true leadership is about dedication and surrounding ourselves with those who support our growth.

12/14/2025

There's something truly special about a group full of heart. The Chamber of Weston Leads Group has been described as one of the best local networking groups where members genuinely care for one another—and we felt that warmth at our holiday gathering.

Here's to another year of close partnerships, great friendships, and lasting connections. Thank you for making this community what it is. 🤝💚
