Emotional intelligence and communication are at the heart of effective leadership, and horses are wonderful teachers.

During a recent team-building session with Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida, Inc., we explored how we manage emotions and communicate under pressure. Designing and navigating an obstacle course for horses gave us a hands-on opportunity to learn about clarity, empathy, and trust in action.

We’re grateful to EATSF for sharing their mission and methods with us. Their work empowering individuals with special needs through equine-assisted activities is truly inspiring.

🌊 The Anda team participated in a beach cleanup with Friends of Hugh Taylor Birch State Park.

Together, the team collected nearly 48 gallons of trash, with a strong focus on removing microplastics. One major find: a large net that could have posed a serious danger to marine wildlife like pelicans or sea turtles.

Thank you to the park team for recognizing our efforts—and to all the Anda volunteers who continue to be a force for environmental good!
