Are you a caregiver of someone who suffers from Alzheimer's? Are you looking for support as you support your loved one? If so, consider joining the Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group offered through Positive Directions!

Our Alzheimer caregivers’ support group is a lifeline for families. It is a place to turn to for advice and encouragement to help feel connected and give caregivers a sense of belonging and purpose. The group helps put our own experiences living with dementia in perspective and provides support and encouragement to move beyond a diagnosis. We share feelings confidentially, make friends, get help navigating the health care and legal systems, and learn from one another.

The 5th Annual NorWALK for Mental Health was a success, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you.

A huge thank you to the planning team, community members, and vendors who came together to host such a beautiful and impactful event. It was a wonderful way to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

We also want to extend our appreciation to the Norwalk community for the incredible turnout. It was a fun-filled day that brought so much awareness, connection, and access to valuable resources.

To those who missed it... don’t be too upset! Be sure to mark your calendars for next year. We can’t wait to see you there!

We are thrilled to welcome back our dedicated Clinical Intern, Nikoletta Moschidi!

Nikoletta was a Clinical Intern at Positive Directions in the Spring and Fall of 2025. We were so sad when her internship ended that we worked with her school to arrange having her return for her second placement!

Nikoletta is experienced in working with children, adults, and families and utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
She can accept Cigna and Husky insurance and has immediate availability for new clients!

Give us a call today at 203-227-7644 to schedule your appointment with Nikoletta!
