Kane School / Kinected is a comprehensive Pilates teacher training course, well-known for its combining of the traditional Pilates repertory with an intensive study of anatomy, biomechanics, injuries + palpation skills.
Graduates work in a variety of settings across the Pilates, fitness, wellness, + medical worlds.

Step 1: ANATOMY
This comprehensive course explores musculoskeletal anatomy + basic kinesiology principles as they relate to the teaching + practice of Pilates, yoga, + bodywork. It lays the foundation for further study as a movement professional + is a prerequisite for the Kane School program.
Step 2: COMPREHENSIVE MAT
Learn the traditional Pilates repertory while studying the application of Kane Principles to each exercise. Students build skills + programming strategies for private + group class.
Step 3: APPARATUS PHASE I
Learn the traditional choreography on all apparatus: Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, High Barrel and Spine Corrector. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Levels. Observe + practice all exercises, cultivate broader skills by learning exercise modifications + progressions, palpation techniques + the art of cueing clients.
Step 4: APPARATUS PHASE II
Delve deeper into programming for injuries and specific populations:
Mod 1: Teaching + Touch Primer, The Healthy Client, Lumbopelvic
Mod 2: Head, Neck + Ribs, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist + Hand
Mod 3: Hip, Knee
Mod 4: Ankle + Foot, Clients > 60
