I would never minimize any surgery as a serious undertaking with risks. However, most would agree that an upper blepharoplasty is probably one cosmetic procedure which is quick (30-60 minutes), virtually painless (many of my patients don’t even take Tylenol), has a fast recovery (7-10 days), and a high satisfaction rate. It usually lasts 8-12 years (depends on how you age!). This patient underwent an upper blepharoplasty without a browlift.

Lower blepharoplasty in a patient that had prior eyelid surgery. I did not do transposition as there was scar tissue that I felt precluded me from having a predictable result. So I removed the bags and did fat grafting. CO2 laser to improve the skin quality (see last 2 photos for close-up). No skin pinch!
