Bergen Catholic just pulled off something special — three levels, three county titles — and our Hoop Dreamz coaches were right in the middle of it.

‼️RESCHEDULED‼️ Due to the snow, storm tryouts for tonight (2/23) have been cancelled and rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Tryouts as planned for Tuesday, 2/24 are expected to be on.

Two of the top young coaches around went head-to-head last night in the Bergen County JV Quarterfinals — Coach Doug Edert and Coach Brian Rice.

Regardless of the outcome, I couldn’t have been more proud.

Both of these guys are former Hoop Dreamz and Bergen Catholic players. To watch them now lead their teams the right way — with toughness, composure, intensity, and class — is what this is all about.

Their teams competed at a high level. They played hard. They played connected. They played disciplined.

That’s not accidental. That’s leadership.

Seeing the growth from player ➝ mentor ➝ leader is a powerful thing. We are incredibly fortunate to have both of them pouring into our Hoop Dreamz players now.

This is the standard.
