April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. PANDAS/PANS in the youngest child (0-3 yr old) can be indistinguishable from Autism. Understanding PANDAS/PANS gives us an approach to comprehending one aspect of AUTISM.

Unfortunately, once parents suspect their child might have autism, there are factors that delay the diagnosis & proper treatment.

Dr. Trifiletti has conducted extensive genetics research & we are confident that within 3 months, a diagnosis of AUTISM can be established or refuted AND its likely cause can be found. PANDAS/PANS, if found, can be treated & with expedited referral to developmental specialists.

Personalized treatment begins based on laboratory & genetic findings, which also guides the performance of radiological & biochemical genetics studies, if necessary. Treatment options going forward can include standard modalities such as ABA, dietary changes & supplements.

THE RESULT – a much more time & cost-effective way to begin the most scientifically-reasonable treatment program for a given child.

“My daughter has been a patient of Dr.
Trifiletti for over 5 years. At that time, he saved her life. This past week, she suffered a medical emergency and was brought to the ER. To say that we were scared is putting it lightly. I called Mary the office manager and she immediately jumped into action. She rushed to get Dr.T and explained the situation. He got on the phone without hesitation and made sure all necessary labs and scans were completed. When my daughter was stable she was discharged.
Upon discharge, Mary scheduled an immediate follow up. Dr. Trifiletti took the time on his day off to meet with us. He ordered additional labs and was able to identify the multiple issues that caused the emergency. When the results came in Mary contacted me immediately through phone and email to let me know that Dr. Trifiletti had to speak with me NOW. We spoke and he prescribed medications to ensure her health remained intact and that a flare would be stopped.
