Box Squat: 135 × 10 for Myriam‼️

Box squats help Myriam reinforce:
• proper depth
• controlled eccentric
• strong drive out of the bottom

Client Progress: Kyle’s Dip Progression 💪🏼

Here are two clips of our client Kyle performing an assisted dip (at 150lbs assistance) and now a full bodyweight dip

Over the months Kyle has achieved:
• Reduced reliance on machine assistance
• Increased pressing strength in chest, shoulders, and triceps
• Improved control through a full range of motion
• Stronger stability at the bottom position
• Cleaner lockout at the top

Since Kyle has started with us we have progressively lowered the assistance until he earned strict bodyweight dips, week to week and month to month!

This is what consistent training and progressive overload look like!

Try these arm exercises on your next arm day!

Tricep Extension with Back Support

1. Better isolation of the triceps
- Back support limits momentum and cheating, so your triceps do more of the work instead of your lower back or hips jumping in.

2. Improved posture and form
- Leaning against a pad naturally encourages proper alignment, which means safer and more consistent reps.

Incline Cable Curls

1. Huge stretch on the long head of the biceps
- The incline bench puts your arms behind your torso, which biases the long head—great for building that biceps peak.

2. Constant tension throughout the rep
- Unlike dumbbells (where tension drops at parts of the lift), cables keep the biceps loaded from start to finish

3. Cleaner form, less cheating
- Incline position + cables = harder to swing or use momentum. Your biceps have nowhere to hide

How a Drop Set Works

1. Perform an exercise at a challenging weight until you can’t get more reps with good form.
2. Immediately lower the weight (usually by 20–30%).
3. Continue doing reps to failure again.
4. Optional: drop the weight again for an additional round.

This exercise can be used to replace bilateral movements (like a squat), but this movement also acts as a replacement for bulgarian split squats or regular lunges too
- to focus on increasing more load
- less balance issues
- smooth out muscle imbalances
- target glute, quad, hamstrings

Minal does a great job demonstrating form here🙌🏼
- knees over front foot toes
- slow eccentric movement
- full range of motion touching her knee to the ground
- strong concentric contraction up

Bilateral vs Unilateral
Bilateral Pros:

✅ Heavier total loads → better for maximal strength and power development
✅ More stable → easier to manage form and balance
✅ Efficient for working large muscle groups

Unilateral Pros

Here is a before and after of one of our clients Jarydd.
- He started his nutrition and fitness journey with us in September of 2024!
- His starting weight was 220lbs and now is currently at 184lbs!!!
- 36lbs down and still counting!

Congrats on your incredible fitness journey Rohin! Your dedication to your fitness goals and hard work in the gym have clearly paid off. Building muscle requires consistent effort and discipline which you have shown. Your journey is an inspiration to others and is a testament to what can be achieved through persistence and a positive mindset. Keep on killing it Rohin!
Rohin started with us back in May 2023 with a goal of bulking/adding more muscle. He is 10lbs heavier than when he first joined and can visibly see the difference in body composition 💪🏽. Clean bulk > dirty bulk
