Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. experiences a stroke—and it can happen anywhere. That’s why recognizing the warning signs and acting quickly is so important.

Remember B.E. F.A.S.T.—the signs of a stroke:
-Balance Unsteady
-Eyesight Changes
-Face Drooping
-Arm Weakness
-Speech Difficulty
-Time to call 911

The sooner a stroke is treated, the better the chances for recovery. Patients who receive clot-busting medication or stent procedures within the first critical minutes are three times more likely to recover with little or no disability.

Stroke is largely treatable—but only if we act fast. Learn the signs, share the knowledge, and be prepared.

Marlborough Health & Rehabilitation Center had the honor of welcoming U.S. Representative Joe Courtney for a special visit.

Congressman Courtney spent time connecting with our residents and staff—including Resident Council President Charles Smith—sharing a special moment as he presented a challenge coin. It was a meaningful opportunity for our team to highlight the exceptional care, dedication, and community spirit that make Marlborough a true home for those we serve.
