We are saddened to share the passing of Bernard “Bernie” Leavy, 62, of Wethersfield, who passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026.

A lifelong Connecticut resident, Bernie was known for his big heart, quick humor, and deep loyalty to family and friends. He built a respected career in major account management, where his dedication and genuine connections left a lasting impact.

Bernie’s greatest joy was his family. He will be forever missed by his beloved daughter Milanna and his cherished grandson Elias, who he spoke of with immense pride. He also leaves behind his brother John, extended family, and lifelong friends who stood by him through every chapter of his life.

Bernie loved sports, laughter, and time spent with the people who meant the most to him. His presence filled a room, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him.

We are saddened to share the peaceful passing of Maurice “Maury” Bodeau, a man whose life was defined by hard work, humility, and deep devotion to his family.

Maury is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis, his sons, Ronald and Jeffrey (Anastasia), his grandchildren, Georgia and Grant, and his sister, Loretta (William). Together with Phyllis, he built a life and legacy rooted in love, perseverance, and quiet strength.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
