We are saddened to share the passing of Nelson Rodriguez, age 63, of Hartford, who passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025.

Nelson had a way of keeping family close, always checking in and making sure everyone felt included. His voice and presence were a constant reminder that family mattered, no matter the distance.

He leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever miss his warmth, his conversations, and the care he showed so effortlessly.

We are saddened to share the passing of Antonio “Tony” Natale, 79, of Wethersfield. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Tony owned Tony’s Beauty Salon in Kensington for 34 years and made many lifelong friends along the way. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Maria, his sons John and Frank, and his granddaughters Gianna and Alyssa.

We are saddened to share the passing of Edwin T. Hellyar, Jr., 95, of West Hartford. A devoted husband to the late Marjorie for 70 years, Edwin was known for his love for the NY Yankees, reading, genealogy, and traveling.

He leaves behind his three sons and their wives, seven cherished grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many loving family members and friends. His dedication and love for his family will be forever remembered.

We celebrate the life of Robert “Papa Bob” Colangelo (Feb 11, 1941 – Nov 17, 2025), a devoted husband, father, grandfather, teacher, and entrepreneur. Known for his storytelling, hilarious stories, and unwavering generosity, Bob touched the lives of everyone around him. From his years teaching science at Bulkeley High School to running family businesses with his wife Joanne, Bob’s life was marked by hard work, creativity, and love for family and friends. He also pursued his passion for writing, publishing a true crime novel - “The Adam Hat Murder” in 2017.

With great sadness, we honor the life of Robert “Bob” O’Dea, a beloved funeral director at D’Esopo’s for more than 6 years. Known for his quick wit, steady compassion, and tremendous love for his Plainville community, Bob touched countless families with dignity and care. Our thoughts are with his wife, Susan, and his entire family. He will be deeply missed.
