Gardens of Wetumpka is happy to welcome Mrs. Geraldine Mattox to our community. Geraldine spent her career shaping young minds as a 4th grade teacher with the Clay County school system. She is the proud mother of five children and is blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

When she’s not spending time with family, Geraldine enjoys embroidery, going to the Casino and sewing—she even made her own wedding dress! She also likes relaxing with her favorite shows, including classic game shows and “Shark Tank.” And when it comes to sports, she’s a devoted Alabama Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves fan.

We’re thrilled to have Geraldine join the Gardens family!

✨ Thank you to Ivy Creek Hospice for hosting “The Art of Aging” — a wonderful self-care and caregiving conference for the elderly residents of the Wetumpka community. 💙

We were proud to be part of this event, helping share resources and support with our local community. Our booth theme was Superheroes 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️— because we believe caregivers and seniors alike are true heroes every single day!
