🚩RABIES VACCINE RECALL🚩

As many of our clients have heard and have inquired, there was a recent recall on the B. I. IMRAB Rabies 3TF vaccine.

We are thankful that Boehringer Ingelheim (B. I.) rapidly identified the issue and informed the veterinary community of potential concerns.

Fortunately, none of our patients at VCA Wexford have received vaccines from the affected lot number. In fact, we do not use that particular Rabies vaccine in our hospital at all. Rest assured, all of our patients are unaffected by this recall! 🐾❤️

We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats. WVH is staffed by an exceptional team of experienced veterinarians, certified animal health technicians, attentive receptionists, and professional management, all dedicated to providing our clients and patients with quality care.

In December of 2017, we opened the doors to our Pet Hotel, a 4,000 sq ft addition to our hospital designed to provide boarding and grooming services exclusive to active patients of our hospital. The goal at WVH is to provide the highest standards of veterinary services. We have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1975 and we are proud to be able to meet the rigid standards of care set forth by this prestigious veterinary organization. We voluntarily have our hospital evaluated by trained consultants who make sure we comply with the AAHA’s high principles. We have also been designated as a Cat Friendly Practice and our team members are Fear Free certified. We look forward to caring for your pets and hope to see you soon! As a welcoming offer, we provide any new clients with a discounted initial office visit!
