We were honored to welcome Mayor Michael Molisse, who joined us to add a very special ornament to our Veterans Tree and helped our residents place theirs as well. His visit truly helped make the evening extra special.

Thank you, Mayor Molisse, for coming and sharing this meaningful moment with us. And most importantly, thank you to our veterans for your service and sacrifice!

After a fun evening seeing the Boston Pops, we made a quick detour to the Seaport to admire the Christmas tree. The festive lights and holiday spirit made the night even more magical! ❤️🎄

🍪Cookie Stacking Challenge at the Weymouth Christmas Stroll! 🍪
The Current South Shore hosted a cookie stacking contest at the Weymouth Christmas Stroll in Columbia Square—and the competition was fierce!
The winning stack? An incredible 47 cookies tall!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to watch, cheer, and stack. What a sweet way to celebrate the season!

Please join us in welcoming Stephen “Steve” Venuti, our new Wellness Director at The Current South Shore.

Steve brings an over 40 years of nursing experience to our community, along with a lifelong commitment to compassion, clinical excellence, and person-centered care.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Steve spent 20 years at Norwood Hospital, building a strong clinical foundation. His experience spans homecare, mental health, and more than 13 years as a Director of Memory Care, where he guided residents and families through some of their most meaningful and
challenging moments with empathy and expertise.

Steve is deeply passionate about creating environments where every individual feels respected, supported, and truly known. This commitment is at the heart of his work—and one of the many reasons we are so grateful to have him join our team.
