We are seeking a friendly and reliable "Responsible Person (RP)" to oversee the seniors at our small residential care home located in Weymouth.

Night shift (11pm-7am) primary responsibilities include supervising residents, overseeing the facility, light housekeeping and laundry. No heavy lifting but must be able to do stairs. No certification required, just a love of caregiving and working with the elderly. Employees undergo the necessary training during orientation. Home Health Aides, Personal Care Attendants, CNA's highly encouraged to apply.

CORI check will be done. Drug-free a must. Must be 21 years or older.

Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and other employees
Must be reliable and capable of maintaining regular attendance

Duties:

Monitor resident activity, conduct regular rounds of facility
Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician’s orders (will receive training during orientation)
Supervise building
Laundry and some light housekeeping
Answer facility telephone
Comply with all rules regarding Resident’s Rights
Comply with State, Federal, and facility Quality Assurance standards
Other duties as assigned

Personal protective equipment provided or required
Temperature screenings
Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
To date, we have not had any cases of COVID-19 in residents or staff. The facility is well stocked with PPE and cleaning supplies. We follow all guidance and regulations from the Department of Public Health, including screening, PPE, and testing.

Housekeeper at small Rest Home, Part-time (25 hours per week, flexible days and hours)

We are seeking a friendly and reliable housekeeper to perform laundry duties as well as regular cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas at a small residential care home located in Weymouth. All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided. FLEXIBLE DAYS AND HOURS! 25 hours per week, any days and any times (at least 4 days per week, must be between the hours of 8am and 9pm).

Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and other employees
Must be reliable and capable of maintaining regular attendance
CORI check will be done

Duties:

-Laundry, including linens and resident personal laundry.
-Regular cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
-Deep cleaning as needed
-Comply with all rules regarding Resident’s Rights
-Comply with State, Federal, and facility Quality Assurance standards
-Other duties as assigned

Elizabeth Catherine Rest Home had its first COVID-19 vaccine clinic last week. Residents and staff received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Everyone is very hopeful for safer days ahead!

Update: ALL GROUPS in phase 1 are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

We love the Naughty Needlers! They always donate handmade items to our residents for the holidays.

Saturday morning, the Naugthy Needlers were at the Whipple Senior Center in Weymouth for their 19th annual fall knitters fair and 18 volunteers out of the 50 members carried on for four hours with their usual high spirits.
