What a blessing it is to have a huge front porch in front of our building. Our residents can still sit outside on a rainy day, enjoy the fresh air, and listen to the peaceful sound of the rain. I always have fun listening to their stories, laughter, and memories. These simple moments together are truly special and remind us how important comfort, friendship, and connection really are.

Our residents enjoyed cupcakes and sweet memories this Memorial Day. 🇺🇸 We take this time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. We also want to say thank you to all the soldiers serving our country today. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten. God bless our heroes and their families. ❤️🤍

Once again, our field trip was all about bingo! Our residents absolutely love playing bingo, and today was filled with great conversation, laughter, and lots of fun. Today was the last day of Nursing Home Week, and what a wonderful week it was! Everyone enjoyed the snacks, prizes, laughter, and time spent together. A special shoutout to Marian, our administrator, for doing such a great job planning all the events and making this week so special for our residents and staff.

Thank you to all of our employees who work hard every single day to make sure our residents are cared for with kindness and compassion. Your dedication does not go unnoticed. Teamwork truly makes the dream work, and we are blessed with an amazing team. ❤️

Here’s the scoop… our employees are amazing! Today’s special treat was generously provided by Three Oaks Hospice. A big shoutout to Mary for making it happen! Everyone enjoyed the delicious ice cream and the smiles and laughter made the day even sweeter. Today for our National Nursing Home Week event, we celebrated “Pickles & Popcorn Crazy Sock Day” — because you make us pop with appreciation! 🍿🥒

Our residents and employees enjoyed fresh popcorn, pickles, and an ice-cold soda while listening to great music and spending time together. Popcorn is always one of their favorite treats, and you could see the smiles and happiness all around. It was another fun day filled with laughter, music, and wonderful memories together. Several door prizes were given out. Everyone was happy 💛

Today we honored our nurses with a special luncheon. The fajitas were so delicious and tender, thanks to our Maintenance Director Larseen. Once again, Darlene outdid herself with homemade tortillas and potato salad. A big shoutout to Mary Lou, CNA/Transportation, for making the delicious beans and rice. Our Administrator Marian,  did such a great job planning today’s event. 

Our nurses truly enjoyed the wonderful lunch, great food, and thoughtful gifts. We are so thankful for each of our nurses for always working hard, showing compassion, and being such amazing employees. Teamwork really does make the dream work. 💙
