Join us in congratulating Dr. Monty G. Motta, MD, FACOG, as the 2026 International Field Day Friend of the Year. As well as working as an active physician in Panama, Dr. Mota is also a leader in the cattle, agriculture, and equine racing industries. He currently serves as the president of CRICEPA, leading national initiatives for the advancement of Cebu and Brahman genetics in Panama.

"On this farm there is work 365 days of this year and every year." The Motta brothers farm, originally purchased in 1946, proudly displays this slogan at the entrance of the house. As the current Vice President of Hermot S.A., Monty and his family have both purebred and commercial cattle, two dairy operations, and a rice mill.

Dr. Motta's vision, to connect medicine, genetics, agriculture, and finance under a disciplined governance framework to strengthen Panama's position in the livestock and equine industries, defines him as a leader.

Nothing better than buying your next Sire on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! 💐Friends, we just put these bulls on the market! After several calls about today’s morning post, it seems there is a growing demand for an “Extra Good” breeding age bulls ready to turn out this spring! The first bull is 723/3, son of Mr H Able Manso 307/9 and the popular Vashti 289/9 donor. That’s right he is a double bred JDH Turkana Manso 607/6 son! Not sure you can find one with a better top line, bone, and sheath to go with his muscle and masculine features. The second bull in the lineup is one we campaigned for a while with great success, standing 2nd in class at the 2024 World Congress, Mr H Warsaw Manso 758/4. He is a son of BRC’s 160 bull and shares the same dam as Mr H Lancaster Manso 585/2 bull, that being Lady H Macy Manso 165. These bulls are 100% parent verified, like all Heritage cattle.
