Can I share how I explain consistency without making it weird or salesy

Because I know a lot of people have had the experience of feeling pressured in healthcare, and that’s not the vibe here.

This is what I tell patients and pup parents:
One visit can help you feel better. Consistent care is what helps your body hold onto that change.

Whether we’re talking about a human nervous system that’s been stressed for years, or a dog compensating after an old injury, we’re building new patterns. We’re teaching the body a different baseline.

And that takes time, repetition, and support.

If you’ve ever wondered why you feel great after care but then life hits and it fades, you’re not broken. You’re human. Your body is adaptable, and it responds to what’s repeated.

Have you ever had a season where you were consistent with something and you could actually feel the difference?

Wild + Wonderful Wednesday 🐾

Meet Nala ✨
A 13 year old Husky and Shepherd mix who fully embraces her role as queen of the pack.

Nala is curious, confident, and makes sure her three husky siblings stay in line. Someone has to run the show, and she takes that responsibility seriously. With wisdom, presence, and just the right amount of sass, she leads her crew like a true matriarch.

Midweek joy brought to you by this beautiful queen 👑💙🧡🩵

🌟 Tip Tuesday: Movement That Counts

Today’s focus: Movement doesn’t have to be a workout.

Movement isn’t all-or-nothing. Your body doesn’t only benefit from hour-long workouts or sweaty sessions. It benefits from frequency, variety, and consistency.

Walking to refill your coffee ☕
Standing up between meetings
Gentle stretches while you’re on a call
A quick lap around the block with your dogs 🐾

All of that counts.

From a chiropractic + nervous system lens, small, repeatable movement tells your body it’s safe to move. It keeps joints nourished, reduces stiffness, and helps prevent that end-of-day “why does everything feel tight?” feeling.

You don’t need to do more.
You just need to move a little more often 💙

What’s one small way you can add a bit of movement into your day today?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, this is your reminder that you don’t have to do everything at once.

Make it smaller.

Most people don’t stop because they don’t care.
They stop because the goal feels too big and the nervous system feels overloaded.

Instead of asking “How do I do it all?” try asking:
What’s the next smallest step that still counts?

Ten minutes of movement
One nourishing meal
One message you’ve been putting off
One post that shares your heart
One walk to reset your nervous system

Small steps build trust with yourself.
And trust creates sustainable momentum 💙🧡

What’s one small step you can take today to support your body, your business, or your well-being?

A few of my favorite things ✨

Coffee. Always coffee ☕️
Dogs. If there’s a dog nearby, I’m happier 🐾
Latino music on repeat. Give me reggaeton or bachata and I’m instantly in a better mood 🎶💃🏽
Dance. Movement that lights me up, grounds me, and lets me shake off the day
And the mountains… my reset button, my perspective shift, my deep breath ⛰️

These are the things that fuel me, keep me connected, and remind me to slow down and enjoy the moment 💙🧡💚

Now tell me… what’s on your favorites list? ✨

Behavior change is the #1 indicator that something might be off.

Your dog might still be eating, still wagging, still being “themselves”…
but if something feels a little different, trust that instinct.

Animals are masters at hiding pain and vulnerability.
In the wild, showing weakness makes you a target.
So many of our dogs are hard-wired to push through discomfort rather than show it.

This is especially true for the tough ones.
The working dogs.
The always-on-the-go dogs.

A few subtle signs I tell pup parents to watch for 👀
🐾 Slower getting up or laying down
🐾 Sitting a little crooked or shifting weight oddly
🐾 Hesitating before stairs, jumping, or play they used to love
🐾 Out-of-character behavior changes without a clear reason
Think a dog who suddenly seems grumpy, reactive, or short-tempered when that’s not normally their vibe

None of these automatically mean something serious.
But they are communication.

Want a simple at-home check?
Watch your dog walk away from you on a flat surface.
Do the hips look even?
Does one side swing more?
Does one back foot land differently?

If you’re ever unsure, loop in your vet first, especially with sudden changes.
And if everything checks out but your gut says they’re compensating, that’s where supportive care can help 💙🧡

What’s one quirky movement thing your dog does that you’ve always wondered about? 🐾

If you’d like, I can also:
• add a gentle disclaimer slide for behavior vs training
• create a carousel where each subtle sign is its own slide
• or shorten this into a high-engagement Reel caption

can we create a shorter version for polkadot, a version for my personal page and for instagram please

Absolutely. Here are three tailored versions, each shorter, platform-specific, and still very you 🐾
No dashes. Warm, educational, gut-trusting.

✨ Tip Tuesday | Dog Edition 🐶

Behavior change is often the first sign something may be off.

Animals are masters at hiding pain and vulnerability. In the wild, weakness makes you a target. So our dogs are wired to push through discomfort.

That’s why subtle shifts matter.
Slower getting up or down.
Hesitation with stairs or play.
Sitting crooked or shifting weight.
Out-of-character grumpiness or reactivity with no clear reason.

None of these mean something is wrong for sure. But they are communication.

Trust your gut. Loop in your vet for sudden changes. And if everything checks out but something still feels off, supportive care can help 🧡💙

Anyone else ever notice a quirky movement or behavior in their dog and wonder about it? 🐾

🧡 Personal page Version

Lately I’ve been talking with a lot of pup parents about this, and it feels worth sharing.

Behavior change is often the first clue that something might be off.

Our animals are incredible at hiding pain and vulnerability. In the wild, being weak makes you a target. So even our happy, tail-wagging dogs can be compensating quietly.

Sometimes it shows up as movement.
Sometimes it shows up as mood.
A dog who’s suddenly grumpy, reactive, or just not quite themselves for no obvious reason.

It doesn’t automatically mean something serious. But it does mean they’re communicating.

If your gut is nudging you, listen. You know your dog best 🐾💛

What’s one little thing your dog does that you’ve always wondered about?

Behavior change is the #1 sign something might be off.

Animals are experts at hiding pain. In the wild, weakness makes you a target. So many dogs push through discomfort without obvious signs.

Watch for the subtle stuff 👀
🐾 Slower getting up or down
🐾 Hesitation with stairs or play
🐾 Sitting crooked or shifting weight
🐾 Sudden grumpiness or reactivity that feels out of character

None of this automatically means something serious.
But it is communication.

Trust your gut. You know your dog 🧡💙
What’s one quirky movement or behavior you’ve noticed? 🐾

If you want, I can also:
• tighten the IG version even more for Reels
• add a one-line chiropractic tie-in for your business page
• or turn this into a Tip Tuesday carousel with one sign per slide

Here’s a reminder I keep coming back to.
Business is built on connection 🧡

Get to know people. Be curious. Ask questions and really listen. Look for ways to support without expecting anything in return.

That’s how you find your people.
Your community.
Your collaborators.
Your friends.
And yes… your clients too 💙

I was reminded of this recently after a wonderful reconnect with Claudia Milner. We first met years ago , and it was so special to cross paths again. She’s a bright light. A Reiki practitioner and instructor, a spiritual and life coach, someone who loves her kitties and lifting weights.

It was such a good reminder that relationships don’t disappear. They evolve.

Relationships first.
The business grows from there.

👉 Who’s someone in this community you’re grateful to be connected with?

The past couple of weeks have been heavy.

I’ve been struggling to sleep. My mind has been racing. That familiar nervous-system “on” feeling where your body is exhausted, but your thoughts won’t slow down.

Last night it caught up with me. I didn’t fall asleep until the wee hours of the morning.

I had a plan for today: an early gym session, getting the dogs out, getting to the office early to be productive.

But when morning came, my body was clear. It needed rest. It needed space. It needed a breath.

So I listened.

That may seem like a small decision, but for someone who’s spent years pushing, striving, and overriding signals from their body, it’s meaningful. Rest used to feel like weakness or failure. Now I see it as regulation. As self-trust.

This is growth for me.
Listening instead of pushing.
Responding instead of forcing.
Choosing what supports my nervous system without guilt.

Sometimes healing and growth don’t look like doing more.
They look like slowing down and honoring yourself.

If you’re in a heavy season too, I see you 🧡

Gratitude feels extra loud today 💙

Running a heart-centered business has challenged me in ways I never expected and lit me up in ways nothing else ever has. It’s pushed me to grow, to stretch, and to keep showing up with intention, integrity, and care.

I’m deeply grateful for the community and relationships that make this work possible. The support, encouragement, and trust mean more than I can put into words.

I’m endlessly grateful for my husband, whose love and steady support remind me every day that I don’t have to carry it all alone.

And I’m grateful for myself 🧡
For betting on myself.
For doing the inner and outer work.
For choosing growth, alignment, and impact as I continue building a practice that truly serves.

And yes, even grateful for my fun hair 💁‍♀️✨
Because joy matters too.

What’s something you’re feeling grateful for right now? 🩵

Chiropractic care is often misunderstood as being “about pain,” but at its core, it’s really about communication.

Your nervous system is constantly taking in information from your body and environment and deciding how to respond. When that communication is clear, the body adapts better. When it’s disrupted, compensation and stress patterns show up.

This is true for humans, dogs, and horses.

Chiropractic care supports the nervous system so the body can move, recover, and function more efficiently.

What made you first curious about chiropractic care for yourself or your pet?

Wild + Wonderful Wednesday 🐾

Meet River ✨
One of the many reasons I love Wednesdays.

River is incredibly photogenic, a total snuggle pro, and hands down one of the best listeners around. Whether they are soaking up cuddles, locking in with those soulful eyes, or simply being present in the moment, River has a way of making everything feel a little calmer and a lot brighter.

Today’s win isn’t about anything technical.
It’s about celebrating animals like River who remind us that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is just show up, be present, and share your heart.

Optimizing health, elevating life

Dr. Jennifer Andrade is a Colorado native. From a young age she was always interested in helping people and was fascinated by the human body. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. During the last year of her undergraduate studies she was involved in a car accident with a friend. Following the accident, that friend sustained a concussion and suffered daily, debilitating headaches that nearly forced him to drop out of school. He sought treatment from acupuncturists, medical doctors, neurologists, physical therapists, and massage therapists and found no relief. Then he sought treatment with a Chiropractor and his headaches quickly disappeared and he was able to get his life back. After witnessing the amazing benefits of Chiropractic, she was convinced and decided to pursue a career as a Chiropractor.

Dr. Andrade graduated Magna Cum Laude from Parker University in Dallas, TX in August 2014. Her philosophy on health is “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Benjamin Franklin. She strives to educate her patients to take control of their health, so that they can continue doing what they love and to be a partner in their journey towards better health and wellness.
