🌟 Vaccine Update from Pediatrics West 🌟

✅ We have received our Sanofi Fluzone preservative-free influenza vaccine and are now scheduling appointments.
📅 Saturday Flu Clinics are on October 11 & November 15 (by appointment only)
🚫 No urgent care clinic on these dates.

📲 How to Schedule
- Use MyChart to schedule vaccine appointments (this helps reduce wait times).
- 1 child per appointment slot (COVID-19 vaccine scheduling is not available yet).
- In the appointment notes, please write, 'FLU Vaccine (plus how many parents for Flu) -- Example: “Flu Vaccine + 2 parents”

💉 Parents & Caregivers
- Flu shots are available for parents/caregivers for $35.
- We do not bill insurance, but a receipt will be provided to submit to your plan.

👶 Important Details
-Patients must be at least 6 months old to receive the flu vaccine.
-No walk-ins — appointments only via MyChart or by calling 720-284-3700.

📝 Consent Forms
- A completed Flu Vaccine Consent Form is required and can be downloaded on the Flu Services page of our website.

Back to school means back to school colds are just around the corner. If your child is sick and you are not sure if you need to be seen you can:

1. Check their symptoms with ChildrensMD mobile app
2. Call to speak with one of our triage nurses
3. Schedule a sick visit through MyChart or by calling our front desk at 720-284-3700

We have plenty of same day sick visits available so before heading to urgent care or the ED, check in with us first! You can reach us 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Book Your Summer Well Child Checks / Back-to-School - sports Physicals

Our providers and staff at Pediatrics West hope you and your family are having a wonderful summer and creating lifelong memories. As we approach August, we would like to remind you to schedule your summer well child checks / back-to-school - sports physicals. Our schedules fill up quickly towards the end of summer. You may schedule your WCC appointment on MyChart or by calling our office at 720-284-3700.

We would also like to notify you that our office (both locations) will be closing early this Friday, 8-1-25 for a team bonding event. Phones will be turned off at 2:30 and doors close at 3pm. We will still have our normal walk-in clinic for sick patients on 8-2-25 from 8:30am till 11:30am.

Upcoming Holiday closure:
Pediatrics West will be closed on Saturday, August 30th and Monday, September 1st in observation of Labor Day.

This weekend we remember and honor all those who gave their lives in service to our country. In honor of Memorial Day, we will NOT be having sick child walk-in clinic on Saturday, May 24th, and will be closed on Monday, May 26th.

YOU CAN NOW SELF SCHEDULE: Sick Visits and Follow ups for ADHD & Asthma

Pediatrics West is expanding our usage of the self-scheduling option through the EPIC MyChart platform as of March 3. In addition to well visits, you will now be able to self-schedule sick visits or ADHD and Asthma follow up visits through this platform.

We are not offering self-scheduling for any behavioral health co-visits/consults/follow ups or contraceptive appointments at this time, so you will need to call our office to make these appointments. If you feel your child’s visit is more of an urgent matter or if you do not see an option for an appointment that is with your preferred provider or a time that works for you, please call the office at 720-284-3700 and we can help you with scheduling and offer nurse triage if appropriate.
