                                            With Halloween and the holidays coming up, set goals for yourself on your sugar consumption.  Start out now with limits in mind and exercise discipline.  Just say NO!  
Keep the candy out of sight and out of the house if you don't need it.
Have substitutes for sweets on hand, such as nuts, cut up veggies, sugar free options.
Get your blood work done now to motivate yourself to change certain values, ie cholesterol, HbA1c, triglycerides, etc.
