I'm teaching the full Usui/Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki series this fall. Level 1 is all day Sunday, October 19; Level 2 is all day Saturday, November 29; Level 3 is Sundays, November 16, 23, and 30, again all day. Come Learn To Be Reiki!

Upcoming classes on line and in person in Wheaton IL in August.

Bring more Reiki into your life by receiving the Reiki Attunements for Level 1 and Level 2 and learning the basics of Reiki Practice for yourself and your family and friends. Level 1 will teach you self-practice and beginning practice for others. Level 2 will further your ability to share Reiki with others, give you the three symbols used by practitioners to focus and share more intense Reiki energy, and teach you what you need to know to receive payment for your Reiki services.

Level 1 is of course the prerequisite for Level 2. If you’ve already taken these classes with me on line but would like the opportunity to take them in person, these classes will be both in person and online. Previous students are invited to sit in and participate as auditors. You’ll receive the reiju (attunements), hands-on experience both giving and receiving Reiki, and a refresher on Reiki history, spirituality, theory, and practice.

The class fee includes the International Center for Reiki Training manual and a Certificate of Completion from the Reiki Membership Association of the ICRT.

Level 1 - Sunday, August 3, 2025 $250
Level 2 - Sunday, August 10, 2025 $225
Auditors - past students who’d like to sit in $125

The classes will be taught both in person and online (Zoom) simultaneously. These hybrid classes are an experiment, so come learn with me and see how it’s done!

Reiki Research Shows Reiki's Effectiveness!

Are you dealing with cancer or some other chronic illness that leaves you with pain, fatigue, anxiety, or nausea? We now have even more clinical support for our belief that Reiki can indeed help.

In a two-year observational study at two University Hospitals Cleveland infusion centers, 268 patients dealing with cancer and other chronic illnesses received Reiki sessions during their treatments. Participants reported reduced pain, fatigue, anxiety, and nausea, as well as improved sense of general wellbeing. Relaxation and symptom reduction were also noted.

From the Abstract: “Reiki is a biofield therapy from Japan currently used in many US hospitals. Evidence supports Reiki's effectiveness for addressing cancer and treatment-related symptoms such as pain and anxiety….Outpatients receiving Reiki during infusion reported clinically significant improvements in all symptoms, high levels of satisfaction, and a qualitatively positive healing experience.”
