The DuPage County Health Department is hiring an Infection Preventionist to support organization-wide infection prevention and control efforts. This full-time role helps develop policies, lead trainings, support quality improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Position highlights:
• Full-time with great benefits (vacation, personal days, sick leave, 12 federal holidays, parental leave, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, pension eligibility)
• Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30, hybrid eligible
• Opportunity to make a direct impact on public health and staff safety

Preferred qualifications:
• Master’s/doctoral degree in nursing, public health, epidemiology, or related field (Bachelor’s + experience considered)
• Infection prevention experience
• CIC certification within two years
• Illinois RN license preferred
