DoodleBug Workshop is opening an Adult Day Program. We have more openings available. Our start date is June 8th. Our programing will be community focused. Please log into our participation page by filling out the form on https://www.doodlebugworkshop.com/about-1
This Adult Day Program will provide a safe and educational environment for the special needs community in a group setting promoting inclusion, independence and friendship. We are located in Downtown Wheaton.
Activities may include but are not limited to:
Exercise Classes,Yoga, Walks Within the Community,Arts/Crafts Projects, Independent Time, Grocery Shopping, Meal Preparation, Movie Day, Games and Activities, Community Outings/Field Trips, Museums, Train Trips, Volunteer Opportunities, Forest Preserve Exploration, Library, Restaurant Experiences, Movie Theatre, Bowling, Educational Programing.
Participant requirements: 18 or older. Ambulatory, able to climb stairs, able to toilet by themselves, able to feed self, able to communicate with verbal or assistance device. Provide lunch for themselves. Zero tolerance for physical aggression.
