Hey NDFG Gang, here’s an awesome upcoming SF event hosted by :

Glen Ellyn Park District’s Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt
Date: Friday, April 3
Time: 9-9:30 am
Location: Maryknoll Park, 845 Pershing Avenue
Hop on over to Maryknoll Park for a welcoming and fun-filled structured egg hunt. Participants will follow an accessible trail in search of colored eggs and other allergen-free prizes. The hunt will feature smaller crowds, low noise volumes, and a quiet zone. Registration is open to individuals of all ages with special needs. The fee is $10 for residents and $15 for nonresidents. Winfield Public Library’s Meeting Room (downstairs).

When parking in the lot you can take the lower level door to access the room easily.

Please bring a non messy hobby like coloring, knitting, reading, cross stitching etc. You can choose between silence or quiet conversation.

Refreshments provided.

Quiet Company is a low-demand gathering for neurodivergent moms and caregivers of neurodivergent families.

🧵 First 45 min: Silent craft / hobby time

Bring a book, knitting, journaling, coloring, or another quiet activity. Sit together in shared space,no small talk required. Please no paint or messy materials. Coloring supplies provided.

☕ Second Hour: Optional connection + conversation
When (and if) you’re ready, we’ll open the space for gentle conversation and community. You can continue silent crafting if desired. Visual supports to share your communication preference will be provided. Light refreshments available.
