There are certain claims we’ve made about ourselves based on situations we’ve been in or experiences we’ve had. Oftentimes we’ve claimed ourselves to be small, limited, and not enough. But when we start our regular spiritual practice, we're saying in substance, “I give up all former claims about who I thought I was based on previous circumstances I’ve had.” You must be willing to let go of all those claims and allow for the great reckoning of your soul to take place so you can be made anew each moment. That's the nature of spiritual growth, development, and unfoldment. It’s what we call transformation.
