Thanks to everyone who came out for our family movie night & bilingual resource fair last Friday in Tillamook! We appreciate all the state and local agencies that participated in the resource fair to share information about the many services available in our community.

And a special thanks to the Oregon Food Bank Tillamook County Services and the City of Tillamook, Oregon for partnering with us on this event, and to all the volunteers who helped out!

Goodspeed Park (3rd Street & Del Monte Avenue) in Tillamook, Oregon

- Arts, crafts & other activities for children. (Adults welcome, too, of course!)
- Refreshments.
- Bilingual Resource Fair from 6:30 - 9 pm: Learn about services and resources available in Tillamook County.

NOTICE: HOSPITAL ROAD WILL BE CLOSED at HWY. 101 Wednesday May 7th to Friday May 9th from about 7 am to 5 pm. The closure is necessary for storm pipe construction related to the site of the new Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy.

A DETOUR will be in place on HALL STREET (just north of Wheeler City Hall - watch for the detour signs). If you need to get to Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy or any other locations on upper Hospital Road or Rowe Street, please take Hall Street up the hill. At the top of the hill, it curves and becomes 3rd Street, which comes out on Rowe Street above the Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy parking lot.

PLEASE take it SLOW driving on Hall Street. It is a narrow street with steep drop-offs.

Earlier this week, our Health and Wellness Navigator, Megan Abben, led the first session of her two-part Nourishing with Nettles workshop. Participants were introduced to the benefits of nettles and began crafting an oxymel—a traditional herbal remedy known for its anti-inflammatory properties and immune system support.

Thank you to Columbia Pacific Coordinated Care Organization for supporting this event through a Community Wellness Investment Fund grant, which helped make the workshop possible.
